Due to our Reforestation Project at Eco Lodge Itororó, we often mention pioneer trees. However, this post is dedicated to our parents, the true pioneers here, who taught us to be thankful for, to love, and to respect nature. Both were nature enthusiasts and passionate orchid admirers. This is just a small and humble sample of the spots and colors that remind us of them every time we see a flowering plant or stroll through a trail at Itororó. Often, we don’t know if an orchid was a gift, an exchange, or a find, but they cherished each one of them. It is an honor to care for what they loved and for what they have left behind.
Thank you, mother; thank you, father. 👩❤️👨❤️
